Lee Lanier
Lee has worked as a computer animator for the past six years,
at both Walt Disney's Buena Vista Visual Effects and Pacific Data
Images. At Disney, he created digital effects for such live-action
films as "The Santa Clause" and "Mortal Kombat."
At PDI, Lee served as Lead Modeler and Lead Lighter on "Antz"
and "Shrek." Recently, Lee has left PDI to pursue freelance computer
animation and illustration.
On the side, Lee has produced, directed and animated two short
films - "Millennium Bug" and "Mirror." "Millennium Bug" has played
over three dozen film festivals and won several prestigious awards.
"Mirror" recently premiered at the Ottawa International Animation
Festival with such company as "Bunny" and "For the Birds." Lee
crated the 4000+ frames of animation in "Mirror" created at home
on a trio of home-built PCs, and created the film's virtually
photoreal human character. .
