1.) Begin by
tracing the profile of the head. The position from points is very
important, as we will see later.
2.) Trace the
curvature of the nose in profile, then to position point in the
view of face. Be careful, there has to be correspondence between
points of the two splines. Attach the spline of the head to the
spline of the nose.
3.) Activate
the function "Snap 3D" (to the vertices) and choose "create line"
in edit spline, to connect the corresponding point to form the nose.
Afterwards, delete the vertex (a).
4.) With the
SHIFT Key pressed, move the Nose to create a "Reference," to apply
the modifier "surface" there, and finally a texture "double side."
Create an "instance" from the reference with the function "mirror."
Thus, all modification brought to the original spline character
will be applied on the reference and to the instance….
